Jade’s passion for leadership began early when she served as Junior High Student Council President in 6th grade.

Following graduation, Jade worked in public policy at the state level. She advocated for thoughtful conservatism, robust public schools, low taxation and efficient government in Texas.

As a licensed Texas Attorney, Jade has represented a variety of clients including businesses, school districts and local governments. She currently serves as in-house counsel to a publicly traded corporation headquartered in Ft. Worth.

Jade’s professional background in law, business, and policy equips her with the skills needed to navigate the complex challenges facing our school district. From managing budgets to ensuring transparency and accountability, she is prepared to bring strong leadership and strategic problem-solving to the school board.

Jade's Family

Jade Holbrook's Family'

Jade met her husband, Flint, in 2014. While dating, they supported each other through simultaneous pursuits of higher education—Flint earning an MBA from Harvard Business School and Jade earning a law degree from SMU Dedman School of Law. Flint is now an entrepreneur and founder of a software company. The two married in 2019 and have two beautiful children—Addison (4) and Harlan (3 months).

Addison is a proud older sister and budding soccer star. The family enjoys attending Addison’s soccer games, frequently visiting the Ft. Worth Zoo, and hosting friends at their home. If elected, Addison will begin school in KISD during Jade's term. Addison and Harlan are the why behind Jade's desire to serve on the KISD Board of Trustees. The district, like many others, currently faces many challenges and opportunites. Jade feels called to serve this community by ensuring KISD is a place where Addison, Harlan, and all other children can receive an education that enables them to achieve their dreams.
